A coating will keep your vehicle looking like this for as long as you own it
Long Term Paint Protection Coating
What it is, and how I apply it:
The Features
What is a ceramic coating?
A hardened, durable layer of protection that prevents the paint underneath from scratching and fading
Applied to your vehicle’s paint, trim, and glass.
Repels surface contaminants, making washing much easier
Does not need to be reapplied unlike traditional wax
Why ceramic spray “coatings” aren’t the same
You probably see advertisements for products like these all the time. They claim that by simply spraying on and wiping off the product, your vehicle will be protected from the elements, but that simply isn’t true. Here are the facts:
These products can add a nice shine to your vehicle, but they do not add any protection from rock chips or scratches like they claim
Longevity is limited to a couple months, not years
Need to be consistently reapplied to maintain “beading” effects. My coating is applied once and will bead water for years
Better used as a maintenance product for a true coating, but absolutely not a replacement for a coating itself
So How is a true paint protection coating applied?
Applied panel by panel with a proper applicator
After curing, residual product is buffed off and what is left will bond and harden to the vehicle’s surface
The process is very particular, because any scratches, swirl marks, etc. that are left on the paint before application will be visible underneath the ceramic coating, and once the coating cures the scratches cannot be touched up.
Highly recommended that we do some form of paint correction (buffing) before applying a coating to any vehicle older than 2 years, but I will always include at least a light polish in the price for newer vehicles

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Ceramic coating at my home? I thought you couldn’t apply ceramic coatings in the sun?
A: Although I do prefer to apply ceramic inside of a garage, the coating that I use is specially formulated to be able to be applied in the sun
Q: What if dust gets on the paint while you’re coating it outside?
A: Since each panel of the vehicle is treated and coated individually, this is not something that should be worried about
Q: Will my car never get scratched again?
A: The reality is that a ceramic coating CAN and will still scratch, it is simply harder to scratch because it is roughly twice as hard as a vehicle’s paint. No ceramic coating can prevent deep scratches, paint chips, or even swirl marks. Anyone who may advertise these things is lying. However, the paint UNDERNEATH the ceramic will remain completely protected from swirl marks and ordinary scratches.
Q: So after my car is coated, I just spray water on it and it will look good as new?
A: Not necessarily. Although the surface tension a ceramic coating creates does make it more difficult for day to day road contaminants to bond to it, it will still be necessary to wash your vehicle regularly. Most of my clients have found that going through a touchless automatic car wash is enough to keep the car looking great in between maintenance washes.
Q: Can I still wax my car? Can I use soaps with wax in them?
A: Wax is molecularly different than ceramic in such a way that they cannot bond together. After having your vehicle coated, use only PH neutral soaps that are wax free and specifically say they are “safe for wax and sealants.” Some soaps even come with ceramic infused in them, and are great to keep up with the coating’s glossiness.
Buffing/Paint Correction
paint correction is the process in which the clear coat of the vehicle’s paint is leveled with a buffer to remove scratches and enhance its visual appearance. Typically a paint sealant will be applied after buffing so as to protect the paint from further scratching
one step: “all-in-one” polish and seal
$150-$425
paint is treated with an “all in one” polish to remove 20-30% of defects
leaves behind a paint sealant that will last up to 2 months
perfect for all budgets
One step: polish and seal
$250-$600
paint is treated with a dedicated polish to remove 50-70% of defects.
Sealant is applied which will last 1 to 3 months
good for those looking to spruce up their paint and get a good amount of protection
two step: compound, polish, and seal
$400-$1000
paint is heavily compounded to remove the most amount of defects possible
compounding followed up with a fine polish to restore gloss and remove any defects left
total of 70-90% of defects removed
sealant applied which will last 1 to 3 months
perfect for those wanting to make their neglected vehicle look like new again
ceramic coating
a ceramic coating is a durable layer of protection applied to your vehicle that makes it much easier to clean. It will maintain the best look for your vehicle’s paint and give a more intense shine, depth, and gloss than any sealant or wax could. The final price of the coating is determined by what paint correction package the vehicle needs before applying.
